'06 Dodge Caravan/Grand Caravan

The 2006 Dodge Caravan/Grand Caravan has an altogether smoother exterior than its predecessors, in addition to being more curvy and stylish. Both the Caravan and the Grand Caravan can be customized with either solid panels, glass slide windows, or a combination of both options. Standard safety features for the exterior include rear windshield wipers and washers.

The interior has the same significant cargo space that made the Caravan/Grand Caravan’s so popular with drivers. The cloth bucket seats are high backed, allowing for comfort during longer rides, and there is a storage compartment situated between the front passenger seat that can be locked.

The 2006 Caravan/Grand Caravan comes with heavy rubber mats in lieu of carpet, which allows for easy removal and cleaning. The storage bins associated with the Stow ‘n Go seating option now provides space to contain things which need to be kept out of sight.

The 2006 Caravan has 146.7 cubic feet of storage space and the 2006 Grand Caravan has about 160.7 cubic feet.

While the 2005 Dodge Caravan/Grand Caravan is not fundamentally different from its predecessors – simply because even when it first appeared in 2004, the Caravan/Grand Caravan has been versatile and valuable – it is the first model to come with Stow ‘n Go seating.

Owners are no longer required to remove the second and third rows of seats and store them physically. They still get the added storage room which comes from getting rid of the second and third rows, but now they can easily be folded down into the floor. The 2005 Caravan/Grand Caravan also has more power under the hood.

The SE model has a one hundred and fifty horsepower, 3.3 liter, V-6 engine, while the SXT has a one hundred and eight horsepower, 3.3 liter, V-6 engine, and the EX has a two hundred and fifteen horsepower, 3.8 liter V-6 engine. Every four speed Auto stick automatic transmission is coupled with power trains.
